Oil Cooler Thermostat helps your engine oil come up to temperature quickly and holds it at the right temperature. Cold oil does not flow and does not lubricate correctly, moving cold oil robs power. Designed to bypass the cooler until the oil reaches 215°F . These housings are machined from a 3-1/4" square aluminum extrusion, 6" tall with an anodized finish.

Marine engine's main enemy is oil that is too cold to evaporate and rid the condensation that is so apparent in these applications.

Comes with a stainless steel mounting clamp.

Accepts 1-1/16-12 o-ring fittings (4 required) AN -8,-10,and -12 fittings.
