'87 + (non-Vortec) engines have centerbolt valve covers and six mounting bolts per side. They differ from the pre-86 style in that the center 2 bolts are at 72 degree angles vs the earlier 45 degree angles.

This manifold has both squarebore and spreadbore mounting patterns making it easy to mount a Holley, Edelbrock, or Quadrajet carburetor.
