This kit will make your 5.7L Chevy Vortec marine engine (Mercruiser, Volvo, Crusader, etc) produce 310hp at 5000rpm! Okay, it was really dyno'd at 307hp at 5000rpm!

Although this kit uses some Mercruiser parts for a simple Mercruiser conversion, it should be just as easy to install for the Volvo Penta, Crusader, and etc. when converting from a 2bbl carburetor to this 4bbl Vortec marine induction kit.

Included with this kit are brand new:
Edelbrock Marine Carburetor
Hard Anodized aluminum 4bll intake for SBC Vortec
Performance Flame Arrestor
Throttle cable bracket
Carburetor mounting studs
Gaskets: carb, intake, and thermostat
Coolant plugs installed in intake
Flame arrestor hold down stud
RTV Silicone and bolt sealer
Misc items for conversion
***Note: we do not supply the fuel line in this package for Mercruiser does not make one for the 4bbl Vortec engines since they do not offer a 4bbl Vortec engine. Since the steel line needed uses standard fittings you can find these at most auto parts stores in various straight lengths. A few simple bends and wallahh, you're done.
